Meet Andries – Sales Manager at Truck Busters
With more than two decades of hands-on experience in the truck parts game, Andries is a true veteran of the industry. Starting out in 2002 — after a few years in panel beating — he’s built up an impressive knowledge of Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, and Scania trucks, and is now proudly leading the Truck Busters sales team.
He might tell you he has no formal qualifications, but don’t be fooled — Andries’ knowledge has been earned the real way: through years of practical experience, testing, fixing, and problem-solving in the real world.
“Experience is my certification,” he says with a smile.
What drives Andries?
He’s passionate about learning how things work, finding out why a part fails, and figuring out how to solve it — often by building or testing it himself. He’s the guy who enjoys getting his hands dirty and using past experience to help customers pinpoint tricky problems.
“I didn’t choose the industry. It chose me.”
As a manager, he’s all about sharing knowledge, mentoring his team, and keeping everyone sharp with weekly meetings, product training, and hands-on learning from stripping late-model trucks.
